An affordable housing lottery has reopened for six units in a six-story building at 387 Bleecker Street in Bushwick. The building is called the Gloria Bleecker, and it first had a lottery in August 2018.
"Gloria Bleecker — Units Still Available," says the latest notice on the city's affordable housing website, Housing Connect. The recently constructed building has had a temporary certificate of occupancy for almost two years.
Of the affordable apartments, there are three one-bedroom units and three two-bedroom units. Rents start at $1,988 a month for the one-bedrooms and top out at $2,436 a month for the two-bedroom apartments. Heat is not included in rent (the units are air conditioned and heated via mini-split units controlled in each apartment).
