A suspect charged with trying to rape a 14-year-old girl in a shocking caught-on-video attack in Brooklyn has been ordered held on $50,000 bail, officials said Sunday.
David Gonzalez, 31, was arraigned and jailed on Thursday for allegedly trying to rape the girl in the hallway of a Midwood doctor's office, court documents show. He is currently being held on Rikers Island.
Gonzalez bizarrely handed the girl a set of keys and asked her to open a door for him inside the doctor's office on Foster Ave. near E 3rd St. around 1 p.m. Nov. 22nd, according to the criminal complaint against him.
