The shooting death of a beloved Brooklyn man sent shockwaves through his community Monday as gun violence continues to soar in New York City.

Wesley Green, 32, was killed in a hail of gunfire around 7 p.m. Sunday on the corner of E. 16th St. and Cortelyou Rd. in Flatbush. When authorities arrived on scene, they found he'd been shot in the face and chest, police said.

The man's grieving sibling, "Prince" Green, 36, told the Daily News his late brother was a streetwise man beloved by all in the community who knew him.
