An affordable housing lottery has opened for 29 units in a nine-story mixed-use building at 1921 Cortelyou Road in Flatbush. It's in an area known as Beverly Square East, not far from Ditmas Park and Kings Theatre.
Of the affordable apartments, there are two studios, 16 one-bedroom units and 11 two-bedroom units. Monthly rents start at $411 and top out at $1,148.
