A Brooklyn man shot and wounded by police after slashing an unsuspecting NYPD cop in the neck has been charged with attempted murder, authorities said Saturday.
Dzenan Camovic, 20, screamed "Allahu Akbar" — an Arabic phrase meaning "God is Great" — three times at Police Officer Yayonfrant Jean Pierre as he cut the cop near the corner of Flatbush Ave. and Church Ave., officials said.
