Greenlight Hosts Free Virtual Readings for Youth, with Favorite Authors

This free and interactive reading event features authors of popular books for early readers, school-age children and young adults

Parents, if you're looking for ways to introduce your children to new books, or a chance to connect with their literary heroes, Greenlight Bookstore this week will be hosting a series of free and interactive reading event featuring authors of popular books for early readers, school-age children and young adults.
All of these events are free, but advance registration is required.

Adam Gidwitz & Emma Otheguy present The Unicorn Rescue Society: The Madre de Aguas of Cuba
Newbery Honor-winning author Adam Gidwitz launches the newest installment in his bestselling Unicorn Rescue Society series, with special guest, co-author Emma Otheguy! In The Madre de Aguas of Cuba, the fifth book of this globe-trotting middle grade series about mythical creatures and their country of origin, the mysterious water serpent responsible for protecting the fresh water of Cuba has gone missing. Young Readers Book Group!

Led (virtually!) by Greenlight co-owner Jessica, our young readers book group is geared toward kids ages 9 to 12, and reads great contemporary and classic chapter books. Parents are welcome (but not required) to attend.

Greenlight hosts virtual story times every Saturday morning, with interactive readings by authors and illustrators, and fun activities for the youngest readers!  Join us for a great start to the weekend!

Little lion needs a haircut. But he doesn't want one! Dad needs a haircut, too, and he doesn't want one, either! Maybe if they go to the barbershop together, there will be nothing to worry about. Join award-winning author and illustrator Hyewon Yum for a reading from the book and some at-home craft activities, where kids will get to draw a mane for their own little lion!
