More than two dozen people at a juvenile detention center in Brooklyn have tested positive for the coronavirus — just two weeks after medical staff there told colleagues they could not wear protective masks on the job, sources said.
Workers and teens crammed inside the Crossroads Juvenile Center in Brownsville have been testing positive at an alarming rate, according to Darek Robinson, who represents workers there as vice president of legal services at Local 371 of the Social Services Employees Union.
