Affordable Housing Lottery Opens for 9-Story Complex in East New York

An affordable housing lottery recently has opened in a nine-story building located at 911 Erskine Street, between Schroeders Avenue & Gateway Drive, in the Spring Creek Neighborhood of East New York, Brooklyn.

This building is being constructed through the Extremely Low and Low-Income Affordability (ELLA) Program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program of New York State Homes and Community Renewal.

The building has 199 units, including 7 studios, 87 one-bedroom units, 63 two-bedroom units and 42 three-bedroom units. By the time of completion, there will be an additional 68 units in the building for a total of 267. Monthly rents are between $328 and $1,504.

Amenities include a community room, a bike room, a laundry room, an outside recreation area and parking (additional fees apply).

Applications for the affordable housing lottery must be submitted by May 27.  There's no fee to apply.

Apply online or request an application by mail by sending a self-addressed envelope to: Fountain Seaview A2, 1044 Northern Blvd. — 2nd Floor, Roslyn, NY 11576. Only send one application per development.

Do not submit duplicate applications. Applicants who submit more than one application may be disqualified. Late applications will not be considered.
