Across the borough this month, branches of the Brooklyn Public Library will host a range of free community events, from crafting workshops to book swaps. Check out the round-up below for cool things to do at a BPL branch near you in February.

Spend Saturday at the Friends of Clinton Hill Library Book Swap. Drop off books and DVDs books you no longer need and take as many books as you wish. You don’t need to leave a book to take one. Please don’t bring textbooks or VHS tapes. The dropoff begins at 10:30 a.m. and the swap will last from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday Feb. 8, at 380 Washington Avenue. …
