This list is nowhere near inclusive of the number of parties and events popping off New Year's Eve in Brooklyn. But we think we've done a good job in identifying, across the board, the hot spots, depending upon your mood.

Watch the ball drop this New Year's Eve at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, starting with New Year's Eve Dinner at Le Crocodile and then a rooftop after-party at Lemon's! Lemon's will be home to a disco-inspired fete hosted by Boy Michi with all night soundtrack from our beloved babe on the decks, Nelleke.  Table reservations have an $100 pp minimum spend after 9p ($75 for tables 7p-8:30p). Fireworks!

New Year's Eve Countdown to 2020 will feature fireworks at two main locations in Brooklyn, both hosted by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams: Starting at 10:30 PM, revelers will be gathering at Grand Army Plaza in Prospect Heights to hear live entertainment provided by DJ Headache! Also starting at 10:30 and then midnight, there will be fireworks at Steeplechase Plaza in Coney Island.

Late 90s Throwback!

Barclays Center in Fort Greene has a history of major New Year's Eve performances, having hosted JAY-Z & Coldplay, Billy Joel, Elton John, Post Malone and Jimmy Buffett in previous years. This year, The Strokes will ring in the new year on December 31. Tickets are on sale now, here.

House Music All Night Long!

Bob Moses, a deep house duo comprised of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, will perform NYE at Schimanski's in Williamsburg this New Year's Eve. The Grammy winning pair will be accompanied by special guest Tolga that evening. The Vancouver-bred and Brooklyn-based duo released their second full-length album, Battle Lines, last year.

Sander Kleinenberg will perform all night at Bushwick's House of Yes in Bushwick on New Year's Eve. This will be the second time Sander Kleinenberg has helped bring in the New Year at the eclectic venue. In addition to music, the event will also host live art, AV installations, a body art and beauty bar, a chill out lounge, psychedelic psychics, live illusionists and aerial artistry.

Cityfox brings a massive edition of its Odyssey NYE & NYD 2020 party back to Brooklyn next week. This time the party spans a staggering 27-hours, running from New Year's Eve to the closing moments of New Year's Day. The party takes place at the Avant Gardner in East Williamsburg, hosting four stages and custom built production fit for the occasion.

The lineup boasts a bevy of house and techno's finest producers and DJs, some of who have become the genre's renown icons. On The Portal stage, Sasha & John Digweed ring in 2020 with a four-hour set. Following them into the morning are a live set from Stephan Bodzin. Tech house defines later afternoon with Hot Since 82 and Jamie Jones playing right before Dixon and Âme's b2b closing set.Cityfox Odyssey will spare no expense with it comes to production and art as well. The party will showcase the Arrival art piece by art collective 404.zero, which looks like a dark but psychedelic marvel. A custom KV2 audio sound system will provide the sound, and pyrotechnics, lasers and visual projections round out the entire production. The party has re-entry, so don't fret about the 27-hour runtime…unless you had that in your plans already.

For over 1,500 years eating black eye peas on new year has been a sign of good luck. Southern tradition states that black eye peas are a symbol of emancipation for previously enslaved African-Americans, who were officially freed on New Years Day after the Civil War and the collard greens represent wealth, growth and financial stability as they enter a new year. On this New Year's Eve 2019 EyeWonder is embracing this concept to provide our community with a night to remember! Hot & Fun New Year's Eve at Union Hall in Williamsburg!

On the last night of the calendar year, Time Out New York's "crushworthy comedians" Jenny Gorelick and Zach Teague are bringing you something to do before you get drunk at midnight and try to kiss your ex. Hot & Fun is an "always-lit" comedy show featuring some of New York's best comedians, doing their hottest material from 2019. For tickets, go here.
