Ever tasted a strawberry yogurt-flavored saki? Or a carbonated wine drink that tastes like soda? How about a delicious energy drink that replenishes the minerals lost when consuming alcohol while getting rid of a hangover?
Thousands of participants were able to sample the fun, the gimmicky and the nutritious in spirits, along with hundreds of fine wines and liqueurs from around the world this past Saturday at the 12th Annual Toast of Brooklyn Food and Wine Festival at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Festival-goers also had their pick of chopped pork appetizers, jerk wings, mini beef patties, clam and rice cook-up and blueberry cheesecake, to name just a few!
Between the delicious food and wine samples, good music and social vibes, the food and wine festival was a perfect kick-off to the coming holiday season.
