On Saturday, October 16, The Toast of Brooklyn Wine & Food Festival returns to Brooklyn Navy Yard, celebrating 12 years of bringing global fine wines, spirits and culinary specialties to Brooklyn.
Brooklyn is home to many wine and food festivals, but this is one that provides the global, culinary and musical experience truly reflective of the borough's cultural diversity.
Festival guests and celebrities will mingle among the enticing displays of libations and food; witness the unique presentations by artisans; view live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs and specialty restaurants that will educate and tempt the palate, while they are serenaded by some of New York's premiere musicians and live entertainer.
TOB partners again with the Caribbean Tourist Board to feature an array of Caribbean Chefs who will provide participants some of their signature savory culinary bites from their native country. Participants will experience both international as well as domestic sample bites throughout the sessions.
Each session will have a VIP experience; premium wines and spirits in a lounge area with 2 personal chefs providing the food.
In addition, Food Network contestant Chef Indeed and Celebrity Chef Shon Benjamin will be among the many amazing chefs, caterers and local restaurants that will be providing the small bite samples of foods.
Participants will receive an official Toast of Brooklyn wine glass to sample the over 80 international and domestic wines and spirits at the festival, including Brooklyn Gin, Treasury Wine Estates, Touton Wines, Opici Wine Group, New York Wines and Spirits, Brooklyn Spirits, Black Hawk Imports, Andersen Ports, Perica, Priorat Marrugat Cava, Taron, Winebow, Kaiso Coconut Cocktail and Vina Zaco, to name just a few.

Toast of Brooklyn will be donating proceeds to the Caribbean Tourist Board Foundation, a registered 501©(3) entity that provides scholarships to nationals from the Caribbean to study tourism-related subjects so that they may return to the region and continue to develop its tourism industry which is the engine of economic growth for the region. The proceeds also will go toward the Hurricane Relief for the Bahamas.
