The fall lineup for the 2019 events series, "Downtown Brooklyn Presents," is here, celebrating the people and the plazas of one of the nation's fastest-growing downtowns.

Sponsored by the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, this year's exciting events will take place across Albee Square, MetroTech Commons, Willoughby Plaza, and the Plaza at 300 Ashland.

Kicking off the season is the one-of-a-kind swing dance series, Dance Around Downtown: Swing, at MetroTech Commons, hosted each week by MC Dandy Wellington alongside the best bands, DJs, and dance teachers in the city.

The lineup also includes lunchtime jazz concerts in September; plaza parties with local legends Brooklyn United youth marching band; an immersive site-specific street performance around Downtown Brooklyn with Begat Theater Company as part of the French Embassy's Brooklyn Falls for France season; and Brooklyn Brews, a celebration of Brooklyn breweries presented by Brookfield Properties.

Seasonal favorites — Halloween's BK Boo! and DTBK Gets Lit! holiday lights celebration — will return to Albee Square, while the weekend-long Downtown Brooklyn Arts Festival (DBAF) and BRIC JazzFest kickoff concert will be held once again at the Plaza at 300 Ashland.

Here are just a few of the sizzling events to keep all Brooklyn residents moving!
