The developments, named Athena South and North, are being built by The Hudson Companies and include studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments set aside for households earning 60 percent, 80 percent and 125 percent of Area Median Income. The two developments are part of the Hudson Companies' redevelopment of the Brooklyn Heights branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, which is located in the new 38-story tower One Clinton.

Athena South, located at 909 Atlantic Avenue in Prospect Heights, will include 77 residential units and one super's unit.

Athena North, located at 1043 Fulton Street in Clinton Hill, will include 37 residential units and one ground-floor retail space. Both buildings will feature landscaped outdoor courtyards with children's play areas, indoor tenant lounges, fitness centers and bicycle storage. All apartments will come with in-home washers and dryers and dishwashers, solid surface countertops, ample closet space and oversized high-performance windows.

Rental units range from studios for $896/month to three-bedroom apartments for $2,952/month. There will be a 50 percent preference for residents of Brooklyn Community Board 2.
