Lincoln Market, a Brooklyn-based high-end grocer, has signed a 20-year lease on the ground floor of 1134 Fulton Street in the Bedford Stuyvesant, reports the Commercial Observer.

The supermarket will take up 12,656 square feet inside a new 35,000-square-foot mixed-use building located at the corner of Fulton Street and Franklin Avenue. According to a statement, the grocer will feature "a robust produce section, salad bar, fresh fish, butcher, cheese counter, frozen goods, beer, vats of coffee beans, home supplies and basic grocery store items."

The new Bed-Stuy grocer will be Lincoln Market's second location to open its doors; a first massive outpost at 33 Lincoln Road in Prospect Lefferts Garden launched in May 2018 with a similar set-up, and more stores are planned in the near future.

"This is a phenomenal addition to the dense and emerging Bed-Stuy neighborhood," said Scott Sher, who represents the property owner Bruman Realty.

Lincoln Market will be joining gym-chain Blink Fitness, which signed a lease for a 15,100 square-foot space in April, the Commercial Observer reported. The new complex will also become home to 200 apartments.

The grocer will take possession of its new space later this summer, and the building is expected to open at the beginning of 2020. As of now, about 4,022 square feet of ground-floor retail space is still available.

Curious Brooklynites, who would like to get a first glimpse at what Lincoln Market has to offer, have to head to Prospect Lefferts Garden as the company does not have a website.
