The Godmother of neo-soul, Erykah Badu, and the hottest aspirant to her throne, H.E.R., have just announced a one-night-only affair at the Barclays Center on Saturday, May 11.

Fans can expect to hear classics from Badu's extensive catalog including early hits like "On & On" to recent favorites like "Window Seat."

Since the release of her acclaimed 1997 debut "Baduizm," Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Erykah Badu has remained one of the most distinctive artists in contemporary R&B and a major force in the neo-soul movement. Propelled by the lead single "On & On," the album became a triple-platinum best-seller and went on to win two Grammy Awards for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Album.

Badu continued to refine her rich mix of soul, funk and jazz on her subsequent albums, the 1997's double-platinum "Live" which included the instant classic "Tyrone," followed by the 2000 release of "Mama's Gun" that featured hits like "Didn't Cha Know" and "Cleva."

Badu also started crossing over into hip-hop, appearing with The Roots on their 1999 single "You Got Me" and spitting rhymes with Common on 2002's "Love of My Life." In the mid-2000s, she pushed into the realm of politically-conscious music with albums "New Amerykah Part One" and "New Amerykah Part Two," which included tracks like "Window Seat" and "Gone Baby, Don't Be Long."

Whether touring with a massive R&B band or taking the stage solo with nothing more than a drum machine as accompaniment, Badu's live sets span her entire career, including everything from early hits like "Honey" to recent favorites like "Q.U.E.E.N.," her 2013 collaboration with Janelle Monáe.

Badu will be joined by rising star H.E.R. The enigmatic singer/songwriter has established herself as one of modern R&B's most fascinating new voices, an artist with a keen skill for channeling the pain and ecstasy of life through a variety of sonic moods.

Within an incredible year and a half, H.E.R. has released two remarkable EPs, sold out her first ever North American and international headlining "The Lights On Tour,"  joined Bryson Tiller on his North American "Set it Off Tour" and performed at last year's Coachella.

In her short career, H.E.R. has amassed nearly 700 million streams worldwide across all digital platforms and has garnered over 10.5 million views on the three music videos — "Focus," "Every Kind of Way" and "Avenue." And most recently, H.E.R. was awarded two Grammys for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance.
