Crab-loving Brooklynites rejoice, Crown Heights' The Crabby Shack is opening a second location in Clinton Hill!

The Crabby Shack Sandwich Shop will specialize -- according to its name — on sandwiches, salads and sides and is slated to open on October 26 at 150 Clinton Avenue between Park and Myrtle avenues.

Owned and operated by Fort Greene residents Fifi Bell-Clanton, a former fashion stylist, and Gwendolyn Woods, a longtime record company executive, the two discovered their love for crab over dinner one night. They realized the lack of good crab restaurants in New York City. So six months later, in 2015, they decided to fill that void by opening The Crabby Shack.

It's been a great journey ever since, they shared, and now they decided it's time bring their passion for crab and seafood to their own neighborhood.

"We're so excited to become a part of the neighborhood where we actually live and to serve food to our community," Bell-Clanton said.

"We both felt like Clinton Hill and Fort Greene needed a great grab-and-go restaurant," added Woods. "And we look forward to joining the vibrant small business community here."

In addition to some of the classics from the Crown Heights location, there will be new items such as fish and fried chicken sandwiches, shrimp po' boys as well as vegan-friendly options. Also, Crabby Shack fans won't have to miss favorites such as us crab mac-and-cheese, or the famous crab rolls.

The interior of the Crabby Shack Sandwich Shop will mirror the Franklin Avenue location's light and airy nautical theme with its white, blue and coral hues, the two shared. However, the new spot will only have limited seating as it will cater mostly to the lunch and take-out crowd.

"We're here to serve the lunch community and the commuters coming home from work who just want to stop, grab some food and take it home," said Woods.

While the ladies are still busy with the finishing touches to the new shop, they are in the midst of finalizing the plans for their grand opening on October 26, which happens to be Woods' birthday.

One way or the other, it's going to be a shellebration!
