If, this weekend, you've been smelling faint hints of coco butter, feeling a sudden surge of electricity in the air and noticing a sudden uptick in the number of gorgeously styled young black men and women, it is because it is Afropunk weekend!

Welcome to the 2018 edition! And if you know anything about Afropunk, then you know that when the annual music festival descends upon Brooklyn during late August, the borough's cup will runneth over with sonic and visual gold!
