Bristol Street in Brownsville turned into a dance party, playground and health fair for the residents
On Tuesday, the Brownsville Neighborhood Health Action Center held its annual Jump into Summer Block Party on Bristol Street, an opportunity to bring Brownsville community members together for exercise and play, as well as receive information on health services..
The block party-- which was held inside of the health center facility and outside on the adjacent street-- offered entertainment, health screenings, fitness classes, a farmers market, arts and crafts and face painting for the kids, along with doula and healthy food demonstrations for adults.
