How the Grinch Stole Christmas at Brooklyn Public Library
Join the Brooklyn Public Library for the holiday classic "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Visit the outskirts of Whoville, where a green, revenge-seeking Grinch lives who plans on ruining the Christmas holiday for all of the citizens of the town.

Kids Camp: The Peanuts Movie at Alamo Drafhouse
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved "Peanuts" gang make their big-screen debut like they've never been seen before, thanks to the team behind the "Ice Age" series. Charlie Brown, the world's most beloved underdog, embarks upon an epic and heroic quest while his BFF Snoopy takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron. From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz with some modern-day flourish, "The Peanuts Movie" will prove that every underdog has his day. More info here.

Sing Along with Amy Miles at Lark Cafe
Come sing and dance with Amy Miles. You may know Amy from PBS Kids' "Lomax the Hound of Music," Amy Poehler's "Smart Girls" or Amy's own web series "Meow Meow Music." From performing with "They Might Be Giants," writing music for "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and being a full-time Momma herself, Amy stays busy. Playing original and well-known songs on guitar, ukulele and percussive things, singing stories with puppets and bubbles, Amy brings her quirky, country rock and casual style to the sing-along arena.

Ho Ho Ho Dobro at City Point
A holiday celebration for families and friends featuring puppets, holiday-themed face painting, balloon artists, music and dancing, and much more. The guest of honor at the event will be Santa Claus, of course. The event will also feature a newly installed mural by celebrated artist Will Cotton entitled "Forest" and is in-keeping with City Point's commitment to providing culturally inclusive activities for the public. For every photograph or selfie taken in front of the mural and posted to social media, City Point will donate $1 to the non-profit RxArt, which provides art therapy for children in hospitals.

The Steadfast Tin Soldier & Nutcracker Sweets at Puppetworks
Puppeworks Inc. presents Andersen's "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" and Tchaikovsky's "Land of Sweets," adaptations of the holiday classics for marionettes. Each performance features both shows. Vist the website for details.

Kids' ArtFest at the Jewish Children's Museum
Beginning on Sunday, December 24, Brooklyn's Jewish Children's Museum is calling all little artists to its annual Kids' ArtFest! The week-long festival features an incredible array of workshops and activities for children of all ages. See the website for details on the activities and times.

NYTM Train Operators Workshop at the New York Transit Museum
Drop by the New York Transit Museum's computer lab to take control of an NYC Subway car and operate it over virtual miles of track, using some incredibly realistic software! This exciting event is suitable for kids ages 10+.
