Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled will be kicking off the “DemixKhaled” tour in San Diego on February 26, which will make 20 stops in cities all across the U.S. through March 31
GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-platinum singer and songwriter Demi Lovato, joined by multi-platinum hip hop icon DJ Khaled, will take over the Barclays Center stage on Friday, March 16. While Lovato will be performing favorites from her Tell Me You Love Me album, Khaled will be hitting the stage with tracks from his latest release, Grateful.
The announcement comes after last month’s release of Lovato’s critically acclaimed album Tell Me You Love Me, featuring the platinum No. 1 hit single Sorry Not Sorry. Lovato and Khaled will be kicking off the “DemixKhaled” tour in San Diego on February 26, which will make 20 stops in Dallas, Boston, Miami and more U.S. cities through March 31.
Tell Me You Love Me is Lovato’s first new album since 2015’s Confident, which featured the massive global hit Cool For the Summer. Rolling Stone described Confident as “the album she was born to make: A brassy, sleek, dynamic pop production that lets her powerful voice soar to new emotional highs.” Her previous album, 2013’s self-titled Demi, hit No. 1 on iTunes in over 50 countries worldwide.
DJ Khaled, the GRAMMY® nominated, multi-platinum artist, producer, entrepreneur and author, is currently garnering acclaim and success for his 10th and most recent full-length album Grateful, which topped the Billboard’s Top 200 chart and has received 1.1 billion album streams to date. He is now taking his act on the road and seems pretty amped about the “DemixKhaled” tour, as he shared via social media.
“They didnt want us to go on tour together… #werecomingforyou,” Khaled wrote on social media. “FAN LUV SEE YOU SOON!”
While the two seem an unlikely pair, the chart-topping stars will surely put on an epic show – to be enjoyed not only by die-hard fans!
To ensure fans gain access to tickets, fan registration for the U.S. and Canadian tour dates will be available through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program.
