Read her letter below.

"Dear Neighbor:

I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me with well wishes and love during both my pregnancy and now that we have welcomed Prince Noah Oluwafemi to our world. Your thoughts and prayers truly provided me with the strength to focus on both nurturing my baby and guiding this district towards economic and cultural growth to meet the needs of our thriving community. Motherhood is a new and exciting experience for me and during these next two months, I will be on maternity leave. I will resume my full official duties on Monday, November 27th.

Yours in Partnership,
Laurie A. Cumbo"

Cumbo will resume her duties on November 27. During her absence, all inquiries can be directed to her staff who can be reached via email or by calling the district office at (718) 260-9191.
