On Friday, Toast of Brooklyn Wine and Food Festival held a pre-launch event at Nostrand Wines & Liquors, located at 549 Nostrand Avenue in Bed-Stuy.

The event was the precursor to its 10-year anniversary celebration of bringing global fine wines, spirits and culinary specialties to Brooklyn. The event featured a tasting of some of the wines and spirits that will be featured at the festival, including new Bartenura rosé and red wines.

Chef Eswick  Palooza of Palooza Flavor prepared fresh appetizers on-site, to add to the elegant experience!

The event served as the kickoff date for the ticket sales for the festival, which is Saturday, September 16, 2017, in the redesigned courtyard of Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza.

The event will be designed to capture the feel of an outdoor wine country tour, festival guests and celebrities will mingle among the enticing displays of libations and food, unique presentations by artisans and a mixture of neighborhood wine and food enthusiasts.

Live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs and specialty restaurants and sounds by some of New York’s premiere jazz musicians and live entertainers also will be featured.
