Construction came to completion earlier this year on the 50-unit mixed-use building at 1007 Atlantic Avenue, reports Yimby, of which ten units rent at below-market rates and which are made available through a housing lottery .

The eight-story building, located near the corner of Classon Avenue in the southern end of Clinton Hill, rises 80 feet to its rooftop and measures a total of 42,072 square feet, with studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments averaging 688 square feet.

The affordable housing units start at $780.00 for studios, $806.00 for one bedroom apartments and $973.00 for two bedroom apartments. The ten available units are allocated to residents of the Brooklyn Community Board 2, municipal employees as well as to applicants with mobility, vision and hearing disabilities.

The ground  floor provides 7,650 square feet of retail space. Sterling Town Equities is the developer and Issac & Stern Architects is responsible for the architecture.

Qualified residents can submit their application online or via mail until July 13.  For more information click here.
