This weekend, artist and festival fans flocked to North Brooklyn to take part in the 9th annual Northside Festival, and annual music and innovations festival featuring film screenings, speakers and artist run by Northside Media Group.

The festival focused on two themes- innovation and music. The innovation portion-- from June 7 through June 9-- hosted events for tech startup founders, entrepreneurs, designers and developers to discuss the future of technology.

There were three days of panel discussions, workshops and pitch competitions. The tech portion also included a virtual reality playground and few after-event parties for participants to unwind.
