Shooting over Argument in Bed-Stuy Bodega Injures Two

Police in Bed-Stuy's 81st Precinct are investigating a shooting incident that left two men injured Tuesday night.

According to reports, on  March 28, at around 6:30pm, officers responded to calls of a male shot inside of a bodega at 315 Marcus Garvey Blvd.

Upon their arrival, officers found two males shot. The first victim was one of the workers at the store who was shot once in the ankle. The second was a patron who shot once in the left leg. Neither of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to Kings County Hospital where they were treated and are recovering.

Upon further investigation, police learned the shooting happened following an argument in the store by a male patron, who is still unidentified, walked out of the store and then turned back around and began firing into the store, hitting both of the male victims.

The detective squad is currently reviewing video and working the case. No arrest has been made.
