Calling all Haitian residents of Brooklyn! The Brooklyn Public Library announces another opportunity for you to turn your business idea into reality. With help from the library, you may win $5000 in startup capital.
If you are a Haitian entrepreneur, you are eligible to participate in Brooklyn Public Library's PowerUP! KREYOL Business Plan Competition. Contestants will learn how to write a business plan and the best plans will win capital to start their business.
Everyone is a Winner!
Participants will attend classes, in Haitian Creole, at the Library on creating business plans, marketing, financial projections, and doing research with Library resources. They are also connected to Haitian Creole speaking, business counselors in the community.
PowerUP! KREYOL is sponsored by the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and Citi Bank Community Development as part of the IMMIGRANT BUSINESS INITIATIVE. HABNET and CACCI are our partners on the program which is also affiliated with the Brooklyn Public Library's PowerUP! Business Plan Competition.

If you are Haitian and want to start a business you are eligible. PowerUP! KREYOL is a competition to help Haitian entrepreneurs start a business.
