Green BKLYN, 432 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn (Fort Greene/Clinton Hill)

I know, I know, you wanna be more green in your day to day, and want the same for friends and family. Maybe you didn't invent the internet, or cape hardbody for the ozone like Al Gore, but the north pole floating down to Nostrand Ave is not sexy...

Perhaps "bae" is perfect besides his/her outsized carbon footprint, which might not be a deal breaker, but c'mon son! Even though Donald Trump is gonna dismantle the EPA by appointing an energy czar who's a global warming denier and push us all into an apocalyptic, climate event, don't cop out just yet!

To get on the same page with loved ones, perhaps you should drop into Green BKLYN, in Clinton Hill, and pick up something treasured from the shop, like eco-friendly sheets and towels, cleaning or beauty products.

What's the story behind it?  From the website:

"Green in BKLYN offers a one-stop shop where people who'd like to live an eco-friendly lifestyle — and those who already do — can find information and the products they need to easily and innovatively green their home and daily lives.

Committed to encouraging the knowledge and use of green products and practices by making it convenient, easy, informative and fun, Green in BKLYN offers eco-friendly solutions for everyday living."

Make it happen, captain, because giving eco-friendly gifts, are gifts that keep on giving...now if Trump repeals the emissions agreement with China, then all bets are off.
