Beginning Monday, October 3, at 5:00am, MTA has announced service changes that will affect late night subway riders of the 3 and 4 trains in Brownsville.

The Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road and Junius Street stations on the 3 train line will close due to renovations and renewals work for the next five months, through February 2017, due to an $88 million capital project to rehabilitate seven elevated stations along the New Lots Avenue line in Brownsville and East New York. Some of the improvements will include new lighting, platforms and enhanced safety features.

The MTA will provide free shuttle buses between the Sutter Avenue and the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue station, as well between the Junius Street and Rockaway Avenue stations.

For more information on these and other changes, visit the MTA's website.
