On Monday, at Restoration Plaza, City Council Member Robert Cornegy, Jr. and Community Board 3 will hold a town hall meeting around the proposed plan to open a drop-in center for homeless residents at 1217 Bedford Avenue in Bed-Stuy.

The town hall was called behind a change.org petition launched by a group of Bed-Stuy residents opposing the opening a homeless center, arguing that one too many shelters have been opened disproportionately in low income communities such as Bed-Stuy.

Bed-Stuy residents are invited to come out and make your voices heard about the proposed drop-in center.
