This spring, teens in Bedford Stuyvesant met weekly with Green Earth Poets Café teaching artists to write original poetry as part of the NeON Arts program.

Green Earth Poets Café works with youth in Central Brooklyn by encouraging them to express themselves through poetry and perform at monthly open mics and other events throughout the year.

On Saturday, June 11, these aspiring teens held a special poetry performance at the Bed Stuy Multi-Service Center, marking the culmination of those workshops.
