In a world where good-feeling music is often described as a thing of the past, musical legends and their contributions are finding their second wind with Motown The Musical.  This Broadway production is based on Berry Gordy's autobiography To Be Loved: The Music, the Magic, the Memories of Motown.

Through dialogue and songs, the show illustrates of the creation of some of the most iconic soul music that was ever created. Motown The Musical tells the true story behind the beat that changed minds, touched lives and made history.  

With a look at hit makers like Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and The Temptations, this is a family-friendly event that leaves audiences singing long and feeling inspired.

The exciting production features over 40 classic songs including "My Girl," "What's Going On," "Dancing in the Street," "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough,".   After over 700 successful performances on Broadway in recent years, the show will return for an 18-week run at the Nederlander Theatre beginning in July 2016.
