“Pregnant women who drink diet soda every day may be more likely to have babies that develop weight issues, according to a new study.

Canadian researchers say women who regularly consume artificially sweetened beverages during pregnancy are twice as likely to have a baby who’s overweight by the time they turn 1.  The study involved more than 3,000 women. It’s believed to be the first of its kind to look at artificially sweetened drink consumption during pregnancy and infant BMI.”  To read the full story, please click here.
