Police in the 79th precinct are seeking information that would lead to the arrest of a man responsible for the robbery of a dollar store in Bed-Stuy on Sunday.
According to reports, the perpetrator entered 99 Cent Town, located on Atlantic Avenue between Nostrand and New York avenues Sunday afternoon, January 24. The man threatened an employee of the store with a knife, and demanded the employee hand over all the money in the cash register.
The employee gave the robber over $600, and the robber fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The Detective Squad currently is working the case and reviewing all cameras in the area. No arrests have been made yet.
