Sculptor, painter and visual artist Frank Morrison is most widely known for his award-winning work as a children's book illustrator. But his canon of creative talents is much greater. On Saturday, December 12, at House of Art Gallery, Morrison will show his audience just how far he can stretch.
Morrison's latest exhibit, "Coney Island," will open at House of Art Gallery in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, showcasing graffiti-style renderings of Brooklyn's most famous peninsular residential neighborhood, beach, and leisure/entertainment destination on the Atlantic Ocean.
