The "Activism on Film" series at the Brooklyn Historical Society will conclude on Monday, December 14, with a screening of the Academy Award-winning documentary about trailblazing activist Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay elected officials in the United States.

Nearly 40 years after his assassination, Milk's work remains a powerful symbol in the fight for equality.
