Saturday was another successful show day for Restoration Rocks 2015, a free block party and kick-off to the week-long Bed-Stuy Alivecelebration.

Scheduled headliner Rakim was replaced by hip hop group Brand Nubian, joined on stage by singer and guitarist Corey Glover of the band Living Color, as well as genre-busting DUO 1804 ft. Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) and VAL-Inc, and Brooklyn's own American Idol finalist, Qaasim Middleton, Kimberly Nichole from The Voice and more.

The show was hosted by poet, social activist and hip hop ambassador Toni Blackman, DJ Hard Hittin Harry was on the 1s and 2s, and Protest art was presented by spoken word artists Mo Beasley and Liza Jessie Peterson.
