The 71st Precinct in Crown Heights has issued the following holiday traffic advisory for motorist who live and or plan to travel around the area in the days leading up to the West Indian Day Parade on Monday, September 7:

There will be NO PARKING at the following locations. If you are parked in these areas, your car will be towed:
Flatbush Ave/Grand Army Plaza to Empire Blvd
Flatbush Ave to Nostrand Nostrand Ave
Empire Blvd to Winthrop Ave
Also, expect heavy traffic delays beginning Sunday, September 6, at 10:00pm to Monday, September 7, 10:00am. Street will be closed at approximately 10:00pm on Sunday.

Eastern Parkway/ Buffalo to Grand Army Plaza
All blocks from North of Eastern to St. John from Buffalo to Grand Army Plaza
All blocks from South of Eastern to President Street from Buffalo to Grand Army Plaza
Also, expect heavy traffic delays from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Street will be closed at approximately 9:30am
