National Night Out Against Crime, Brooklyn

National Night Out Against Crime is an annual summer event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watches in which police precincts across the United States organize anti-crime rallies with the participation of local business and civic organizations. Various Police Department units present displays, and other city, state and federal agencies also take part.

By hosting host block parties, which may include parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits, National Night Out endeavors to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

It is a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
