On Thursday, July 23, the Brooklyn Museum presents Art Off the Wall: FAILE an evening of programs co-curated with FAILE, the Brooklyn-based collaboration between artists Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller.  The night includes an artist talk, a video game tournament in FAILE's interactive Deluxx Fluxx Arcade, and concludes with a special DJ set by Grammy Award-winning music producer and recording artist Swizz Beatz, with opening sounds from DJ Runna.

The exhibition FAILE: Savage/Sacred Young Minds raises questions about our relationship to consumer culture, religious traditions, and the urban environment by blurring the boundaries between fine art, street art, and popular culture. Works on view include multimedia installations, large scale paintings, and sculptures that appropriate imagery from a wide variety of sources from folk and Native American art to comic books and sci-fi movie posters.
