Shootout on Quincy Injures Two Bystanders

Police in the 79th Precinct of Bed-Stuy are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the perpetrator(s) of a shooting incident on Tuesday that left two people injured.

According to reports, on May 12, at around 2:30pm near the corner of Quincy and Throop avenues, two innocent bystanders were caught in the crossfires of a shootout. The first victim, a 19-year-old, was shot twice-- one time in the chest and one time in the left armpit. The second victim, a 24-year-old woman, was shot one time in the left thigh.

Both victims were taken to Kings County Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.

There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
