The families of Danny Cole and Mendy Losh-- two friends originally from Crown Heights who went missing since Saturday's cataclysmic earthquake in Nepal-- can breath a sigh of relief. The two men, who now live in Los Angeles, had planned to hike on Mount Everest, but they have since been located:

"Danny Cole and Mendy Losh have been located and are unharmed," said Cole's brother-in-law, Zalman Schriber, speaking on behalf of the Cole and Losh families. "Our families are in contact with them and we are working towards bringing them home safely."

"We thank the many people and organizations who have worked tirelessly on behalf of Danny and Mendy during this difficult time. We wish them continued blessing and success in their selfless efforts to help the countless other people in need of aid.

"We pray for the victims of this disaster and for all the families affected by the  devastation."
