Robbers Hold up Metro PCS Store in Bed-Stuy

A pair of armed robbers held up a Metro PCS store in Bed-Stuy on Sunday, making off with a total of $10,000 in stolen cash and goods, reported police.

According to reports, on March 29, at around 11:00am, the two thieves entered the store, located at 989 Bedford Avenue between Dekalb Ave and Kosciuszko St, forced the manager of the store into the restroom at gunpoint while they robbed the store. Police caught the entire incident on surveillance video.

The thieves made off with $8,843 in cash and more than $1,100 in cellphones and accessories, according to police.

One of the suspects is described as 230 lbs, 6 foot 1 and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black hat, red and blue sneakers.

The second suspect is described as approximately 140 lbs, 5 foot 7 and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, beige cargo pants and pink and black sneakers.
