Man Shot 4 Times From Behind on Chauncey St, Police Looking for Shooter

Police are looking for an unidentified gunman who shot shot a man on Chauncey Street Saturday.

According to a report, on February 21, at around 3:10am, 81st Pct. police were called to 328 Chauncey St (between Howard and Saratoga) with reports of a man shot.

Police arrived on the scene and found the victim, identified as Michael Southerland, 25, injured with four gunshot wounds: in his left thigh, left arm, left rib and the back. The victim said an unknown male wearing all black shot him from behind.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he is being treated. The case is under investigation.
