The event will be hosted by Delphine Fawandu, one of the exhibit's featured artists and co-curator.

In this fun and educational two-hour workshop, youth ages 8-13 will learn the basics of photography and how to best use natural lighting. They will take self portraits while exploring and reflecting on the theme, "I am Here" and what it means to "reclaim safe spaces."

Working in conjunction with DIVAS for Social Justice Founder Clarisa James, participants will ultimately create a photo series and collage that will be added to the current gallery display at the closing ceremony.

Class size limited to 10, so please come early!
