'Super Adoption' Planned for More than 800 Cats and Dogs at Pop-up Event in Bklyn

Best Friends Animal Society is holding a pop-up pet adoption event this holiday season at the Brooklyn Expo Center, located at 79 Franklin St. in Greenpoint.  The three-day "Super Adoption" is a bi-annual event and on Friday, December 12, it will make its Brooklyn debut.

More than 800 dogs, cats and bunnies will be available for adoption, with fees starting at just $25.The Super Adoption will feature local food trucks, a pet gift fair and giveaways throughout the weekend. Participants of all ages can expect a visit from a few celebrities they know and love, including Santa himself, Marnie the dog, Edie Falco, Bernadette Peters, Emma Kenny ("Shameless"), Amir Arison ("The Blacklist"), David Mazouz ("Gotham"), John Doman ("Gotham"), Jake Robinson ("Odyssey"), and Nate Mooney ("Odyssey"), and others to be announced.Help some of the borough's neediest residents finally find a home this holiday season while gifting someone a furry new "best friend" for Christmas!
