Goodwin, a resident of Merrick, NY, has a master's degree in business administration from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY, and a bachelor of science degree in finance from Long Island University.

Goodwin's responsibilities will include overseeing operations at all levels and spearheading a multi-million dollar expenditure for major capital improvements, such as repairs to infrastructure, the installation of replacements for aging radiology equipment and a cardiology PACS system.

Most recently, Goodwin served as Director of Patient Experience and Culture at Brookhaven Memorial Medical Center. He joined Brookhaven in 2009 first as an administrator for the Marilyn Shellabarger Health Center and later as a senior administrator responsible for two family health centers. Before that, he held a variety of positions at some of the region's top hospitals, including Beth Israel Medical Center's, Lenox Hill Hospital, The Brooklyn Hospital Center, South Nassau Community Hospital and Bronx Lebanon Hospital, to name a few.

"I am delighted to welcome Mr. Goodwin, who brings 25 years of experience in hospital administration, and a strong record of success in managing and implementing operations," said Korf. "We are confident that Mr. Goodwin will use every resource available to bring Interfaith up to the highest standards, enabling us to provide the best possible care for our patients."
