Boys and Girls Academy (previously known as Boys and Girls High School) Advisory board has released a letter to parents of middle school children seeking a high school.
The letter is inviting parents to an open house, part of a reintroduction of the school under the leadership of its newly appointed principal Dr. Michael Wiltshire.
The open house will take place on Saturday, November 8, 9:00am, at Boys and Girls Academy. Parents will get a chance to meet Dr. Carmen Fariña, Chancellor of the Department of Education: Dr. Lester Young, Jr., Regent, of the State of New York; and Dr. Rudolph Crew, President of Medgar Evers College.
They will also learn about the regents curriculum, study abroad and college advisement, extended day, Saturday classes, tutorial programs, varsity and intramural athletics, and the fine & performing arts programs.
