Brooklyn Nets Holding Open Auditions for National Anthem

So you think you can sing?

Well, on Wednesday, October 22, the Brooklyn Nets is inviting all singers and musicians to try out for a chance to perform The Star-Spangled Banner during one of the Brooklyn Nets games at Barclays Center.

Auditions are open to all New York City residents. However, during the new 'We Are Brooklyn' Monday night themed games, "The Star-Spangled Banner" will only be performed by Brooklynites.

 For performers under the age of 18, one parent or guardian must be present at registration to sign a participation waiver. A keyboard will be provided. Singers are asked to bring their track on CD or MP3. All singers and musicians should be prepared to perform The Star-Spangled Banner.

WHO:  Singers and musicians.

WHAT:  Open call auditions to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at a Brooklyn Nets Playoff game. For performers under the age of 18, one parent or guardian must be present at registration to sign a participation waiver.

WHEN:  Wednesday, October 22, from 5:00pm — 7:00pm

WHERE:  The Barclays Practice Court at Barclays Center, 620 Atlantic Ave.

Participants and media should enter through the Calvin Klein VIP entrance, located at the northwest corner of the arena on Atlantic Avenue.
