Police are looking for the gunman responsible for a Wednesday night shooting on Chauncey Street.

According to 81st Pct. police, on October 15, at around 5:35pm, a 24-year-old man identified as Shaun Burns was shot one time in the leg on the 5th floor of 120 Chauncey Street (between Lewis and Malcolm X).

Burns said he was leaving the building when an unknown man wearing a blacked hooded sweater approached him and out of nowhere fired four shots and then fled. The victim said he could not identify the perpetrator, as his hood partially concealed his face.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made and the 81st Precinct detective squad is investigating and reviewing the cameras.
